The measures on preventing the coronavirus pandemic are underway.
On August 25, 2020, the mobile groups established to raise awareness among the population to meet the requirements of the special quarantine regime in the Gabala district conducted raids to learn the situation on complying with the special quarantine regime rules in in public catering, trade and other facilities frequented by the population and took necessary measures. During the raids, the citizens were explained on the importance of using medical masks, keeping social distance to reduce the risk of coronavirus infection once again. During the day, 36 trade facilities and other 61 facilities have been inspected. A family of one deceased was warned not to hold a mourning ceremony because mourning causes the spread of infection. 2 residents of Baku city, 1 resident of Ganja city and 1 resident of Lachin region were fined in the amount of 200 manat each, while 2 residents of Baku city, 2 residents of Yenikand village of Gabala region, 1 employee of trade and 2 employees of public catering facility were fined in the amount of 100 manat each by the relevant article of the Code of Administrative Offenses for violating the quarantine rules. The necessary measures are being continued to fight against coronavirus pandemic in the district.
