A research and methodology seminar was held regarding teaching the lessons on civil defense in secondary schools.
On September 9th in the Cultural Center of Gabala region Shamakha Regional Division of Emergency Situations and Civil Defence of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan held a seminar for class masters of 2, 5 and 6 classes of secondary schools.
In the above mentioned classes in view of civil defence lessons teachers were instructed in the direction of teaching students the necessary rules on how to act during an earthquake, fire and other emergency situations.
The purpose of the seminar was to provide detailed guidance to teachers who teach in these classes. The seminar was opened by the Deputy Head of the Department of Education of Gabala region Ihtiyar Huseynov. After that, the head of Shamakha Regional Division of Emergency Situations and Civil Defence Lieutenant Colonel Faig Akhmedov noted in his speech the importance of teaching students in secondary schools the rules of conduct in emergency situations and explained in detail the problem that befalls the heads of classes, schools in this area.
During the seminar, employee of the regional department senior lieutenant Asim Atakishiyev, specialist of the course on the civil defence Zahir Yagubov provided detailed information on the topic.
In conclusion, the questions from the participants of the seminar were answered; there was an exchange of views on this topic.
