Some mass media and social networks spread unfounded information about the protest in Gabala on September 04, 2020. Be noted that every Friday is a reception day for the Head of the Gabala Region Executive Power. Receptions in the executive power held online related to the pandemic (COVID-19) and a group of Zaragan villagers applied for natural gas to be pumped to their area during the reception of citizens held on September 04, 2020. Those citizens were accepted by the head of REP and explained accordingly; it was stated that appropriate measures would be taken to resolve the issue.
We once again urge on the media and social media users not to spread untrue information and to avoid confusing the public.
