A blood donation campaign was held in Gabala Medical and diagnostic centre.
A blood donation campaign was organized in Gabala Medical and diagnostic centre with the participation of the employees of the Blood bank of National centre of Haematology and Transfusiology on September 19. Main goal of the campaign, organized in special quarantine regime, is to supply blood to the patients (patients with thalassemia, haemophilia, leukaemia, etc.) who need blood and its components. Society, departments, enterprises and organizations of Gabala joined this noble and humanistic action to help people who need this help. During the campaign, organized in special quarantine regime, donors underwent medical examination before going to the blood donation room. The enterprise also paid attention to their full supply of gloves, masks, use of disinfectants, and protective standards of social distance were observed. Main goal of the campaign is to support people suffering from hereditary blood diseases, including thalassemia and haemophilia, and to attract public attention to this matter.
