Meeting with chess player.
In August of this year the 38th World Chess Solving Championship took place in Switzerland. About 150 players from 23 countries have joined the contest for the championship awards.
Azerbaijani team took second place at the World Championship for the shown high results. Almamedov Araz Bagir oglu representing Gabala region as part of our team for chess solving, getting good results, won the title of International Master. In connection with the victory of our chess players, the Head of the District Executive Power Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev met with the champion, congratulating him for receipt of the title of International Master and winning the second place by our team and wished them further success. Then the Head of the Executive Power talked about the care provided by the state to the sport in Azerbaijan, strengthening from year to year the material and technical base of sport and achievements got in the result.
During the meeting with the head of the district executive power the chess player was awarded a certificate of honour and reward.
