President Ilham Aliyev told in an interview for Russian TASS news agency: Azerbaijan is ready to fulfill its duties.

Against the backdrop, Armenia is being targeted every day by crushing blows, is starting to retreat, its material-technical resources are constantly weakening, and its personnel are completely neutralized. The number of vehicles seized and lost since the beginning of the war is increasing every day. While the Armenian armed forces initially withdrew from the battlefield by platoon and units, today they hand over entire military units and equipment to the Azerbaijani Army. Azerbaijani army achieved to break through the defensive lines. We continue the war according to the principles of international humanitarian law adopted in this field especially during such ongoing fighting operations. Furthermore, our objective is minimum loss and maximum result. Along with seeing the strength of our brave army in the war, we observe the obvious result of the attention paid by the Azerbaijani state to the military for many years. Today's analysis shows that our unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), drones and other weapons subject Armenia to strict losses and no losses are incurred by us during these losses. We can clearly see from the official news and videos shared by the Ministry of Defense that today the enemy bereaves in the battlefield; Armenia is already lost state. Of course, the more they resist, the more they will have to suffer losses. Azerbaijan remains committed to the principles of humanitarian law, they were proposed many times that we have no choice to liberate our occupied territories. President, Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev stated a few years ago that if Armenian soldier doesn't want to die, then let him leave Azerbaijani lands. However, aggressor Armenian government withdrew from neither our lands nor its creepy traits. Now it is late and time to endure the results of decisions which they adopted. Armenia's forcible mobilization of people and civilians under the age of 60 is a clear proof that they are in a dilemma. Today, everyone is ready to fight with great spirit as a volunteer and wait for an order to be made by the Commander-in-Chief in this direction. Azerbaijan does not need to invite foreign military staff unlike the enemy. We are the owner of these lands. We are at least 5 times bigger than Armenia, both in terms of population and in other parameters. We haven’t migrated in these lands at someone's dictation like Armenians. Let’s review the history. Armenians were settled down in these territories in 1828 after concluding Turkmanchay Contract between Russia and Iran. Armenians' mass resettlement to the Karabakh region started from the territory of present-day Iran and partly Eastern Anatolia according to the Contract. They have set foot in these sacred lands for less than 200 years. The ancient land of Oghuz, the land of fires, Azerbaijan is thousands of years old. The Head of State, Mr. Ilham Aliyev highlighted in an interview for Russian TASS news agency that no country and international organization exclude being of Karabakh as a historical, eternal and ancient land of Azerbaijan and an integral part of it. On the contrary, many states closely support us in our rightful work. Of course, Turkey is the first one among the countries supporting Azerbaijan. Pakistan, Ukraine and other friendly countries have also shown a fair position on Azerbaijan. We also have centuries-old friendly and cooperative relationships with Russia, our northern neighbor. Although there have been occasional attempts from other countries, especially Armenia to bring discord and some mistrust, it failed. Such issues can never overshadow our strategic partnership. Russia has always played an important role in the settlement of the conflict, There are objective reasons for this – both historical and geographical in nature. One of the reasons that Russia has been active in our region for many decades and there is a high level of interaction. Therefore, Azerbaijan is ready for any contacts. Today, justice takes up for Azerbaijan; countries supporting rightful position of the world and justice are also on our side.
