Over its history, Azerbaijan has experienced many glorious moments and events being a reason for the pride of our people. But the victories of the Azerbaijani army under the leadership of Supreme Commander-In-Chief Ilham Aliyev and the liberation of our lands from occupation have special significance for the history of statehood. Every citizen of Azerbaijan is happy to witness these historic, glorious moments, and experience exciting historical days. Over these 30 years, the Azerbaijani people, working hard and tirelessly to strengthen their state, have been looking forward to this great news. Neither international injustice, no suffering has shaken the faith of our people in victory, has affected the will of the Azerbaijani people, the Azerbaijani state, and the leader of Azerbaijan. Every day our people rallied more and more around our leader, the Supreme Commander-In-Chief, who declared: "Azerbaijan will never accept the violation of its territorial integrity and will not allow the creation of a second Armenian state on its lands. The territorial integrity of our country must be fully restored, and Azerbaijanis must return to their native lands." Our unity grew stronger with each passing day. On November 10, a statement was signed between the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, and the President of the Russian Federation. We must note that this statement means a glorious victory for Azerbaijan, and it is actually a military capitulation for Armenia. The great victories of the Azerbaijani army on the battlefield, the iron fist of the Azerbaijani leader, our army, and the people forced Armenia to sign this statement. The historical significance of this statement is glorious. First, this statement puts an end to the occupation, which lasted for about 30 years. This document allows us to return the remaining areas under occupation - Aghdam, Lachin, and Kelbajar - without bloodshed. The document also fixes the connection of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic with the main part of Azerbaijan. The territorial integrity of Azerbaijan is being fully restored, and Azerbaijanis are returning to their native lands. This is the happiness of victory! As President Ilham Aliyev said, "I am happy that we are returning to our homeland, to our native Karabakh, to Shusha, being the crown of Karabakh, and we will live on these lands forever! After that, no one will be able to move us from these lands!" The Azerbaijani state won this victory both on the battlefield and in the political sphere. The country achieved victory thanks to the strength of its leader, its army, and the unity of the people. Thanks to the courage and dedication of our heroic soldiers, we liberated our lands from occupation. May Allah watch souls of our martyrs who defended their native lands in the great Patriotic war without regard to their own lives. The historic victory we achieved and the liberation of our lands also restored the confidence of the Azerbaijani people and further strengthened the people's confidence in their leader and his strength. Azerbaijani people, regardless of the place they live, are rightfully proud of their state, its victories, and are proud to be Azerbaijani. This happiness and pride were granted us by the Supreme Commander-In-Chief Ilham Aliyev and the resolute Azerbaijani army. This war demonstrated the strength of the Azerbaijani people, its leader, and its glorious army to the whole world. On November 10, 2020, after the conclusion of the trilateral agreement, Mr. President addressed the people and brought them the news of the victory: "Representatives of all nations and religious confessions living in our country, showing courage, fighting the enemy, restored the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. This is our wealth. The torment, despair, and suffering we have endured over the past 30 years have not broken will of our people. We took revenge for the victims of Khojaly and our martyrs. I bow down before our martyrs. The martyrs of the first and second Karabakh wars will live in our hearts forever. The Azerbaijani people is a great people, a patriotic one, a people with an unconquerable will. We took revenge on the enemy, the invader. We never had and will not have any problem with civilians. The Azerbaijani people won the victory at the cost of the lives of martyrs. We will do everything possible to ensure that the wounded soldiers and officers recover soon and return to normal life. The firing of ballistic missiles at civilians by the Armenian armed forces is a war crime. They will face the consequences for this war crime. There are displaced persons in many countries of the world, but the situation with ours in comparison with those living in those countries is incomparably positive. But their main wish is to return to their native lands. Renewing the infrastructure in all the territories liberated from occupation, Azerbaijan will ensure the return of internally displaced persons to their homes as soon as possible. The Azerbaijani people will restore all historical monuments, and after 28 years, the voice of azan will be heard again in Shusha. We are coming back, Azerbaijan is coming back! Azerbaijan is restoring its territorial integrity. We will do everything possible to return the internally displaced persons to their ancestral lands and restore these lands liberated from occupation.
