Roundtable discussion on "Gabala - land of legends."
In the regional center of culture a roundtable discussion dedicated to the announcement of Gabala as "The Legends Capital of Azerbaijan" on the subject of "Gabala - the land of legends". The event was attended by the Director of the Scientific and Methodological Center for Cultural Studies of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ph.D., professor Vilayat Ismailov and deputy Head of Executive Power of Gabala Region Ataya Osmanova. Senior Researcher of the department of ceremonial folklore of Institute of Folklore of ANAS Atesh Ahmadli read a report on "Gabala - in history and legends." The senior researcher of the Institute of Architecture and Art of ANAS Sabir Alihuseynli, Director of Gabala Local History Museum Khalis Mammadov and Director of Chukhur Gabala Historic Art Reserve Bahruz Sharifov delivered the speeches on the report. As a result, within the "Capital of Legends of Azerbaijan" several members of the Gabala District Department of Culture and Tourism were awarded certificates of honour of scientific and methodological center on cultural studies for their activities.
