The victory parade showed the power of Azerbaijan once again.

The brilliant Victory parade held on December 10 showed the power of Azerbaijan and our historic victory to the whole world. The Victory parade was the manifestation of the historic victory of our glorious Army in the 44-day “Iron Fist” military operation under the leadership of the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. Our glorious Army won an unprecedented victory over the enemy by liberating our occupied territories from occupation. The tricolour flag of Azerbaijan is waving in the Homelands which we have been longing for 30 years and make each of us experience great feeling of pride. The military equipment demonstrated in the Victory parade is the result of the attention and care paid by our President to the military field. The wealth of the material and technical base of our Army, some part of the equipment and ammunition in use were visually demonstrated in the parade. Everyone visually witnessed the arsenal of the Azerbaijan's Army equipped with state-of-the-art weapons. Military tactics and techniques used during the Patriotic War of our country were watched throughout the world with great interest. Today we can proudly say that the Azerbaijan's Army is the army that implements innovative novelties at the highest level during military operations. During the war of independence that we conducted in the Patriotic War, great number of equipment and weapons belonging to deserter and aggressor Armenian army were seized as military trophies. The great part of the military equipment belonging to the Armenian Armed Forces was destroyed in the battles, and those seized in good condition were given to the order of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan as military trophies. The Armenian government will have a great difficulty to replace this equipment. The fact that equipment belonging to Armenia in the past was included in the military equipment passing through Azadlig Square in Baku was a great point. This gave rise to national pride. While the Azerbaijani people held the Victory parade of the great triumph with the brotherly Turkey in the Azadlig Square of Baku, Armenia was still shaken by internal panic and demonstrations. The progress of events shows that the bitter defeat in the war is the collapse of Armenia and its supporters' decades-long aggressive policy. We should note one more point that by winning a Victory over the Armenian fascist power the state of Azerbaijan has implemented UN resolutions that have remained on paper so far. The act of capitulation forced Armenia to kneel down and return occupied lands of Azerbaijan. Armenia was forced to comply with principles of international humanitarian law that they rudely breached at every step. Certainly, this issue will not end only with the defeat of Armenia, but also Armenia will be held accountable before the international law due to acts of vandalism and numerous war crimes committed in the lands of Azerbaijan within 30 years by Armenia. The fact that the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan visit our country and watch the Victory parade with President Ilham Aliyev, as well as the signing of a number of important documents on various fields between the two countries became a clear manifestation of the friendship and brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Turkey. As the President, Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev noted, citizens of Azerbaijan will live and build on these historical lands again. However, today's history will never be forgotten. These destroyed, burnt houses, devastated villages and cities are living witnesses of Armenian vandalism. Every inch of our lands will recover as soon as possible, and our Homeland will turn into heaven with the Patriotic love of the people living in these houses and these lands. The pride that our people experienced in the Victory parade was engraved in the memories forever. Now we can surely say that a historic mission has already been completed and Karabakh conflict has been resolved according to the requirements of the international law and within the framework of the territorial integrity of our country. We are grateful to our Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief, Azerbaijan's glorious Army and our brave sons who gave their lives for the Homeland and made us experience this Victory!
