The final tournament on taekwondo took place in Gabala.

On September 25-26 th the final stage of the competition in taekwondo included in the program of IX Republican Youth Games in Gabala. In the finals the fight was carried out among 140 athletes of 2000-2001 years of birth, within 20 teams, that had won the zonal competitions held in Baku, Sabirabad and Balakend. The winners were awarded the diplomas and medals of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
