Zone competition among the adolescents in freestyle wrestling.
Zone competition was held among the adolescents, born in 2002-2003, in freestyle wrestling, included into the VII Republic Games of Sports Schools by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Gabala Olympic Sports Complex. The objective of holding the competition is the development of freestyle wrestling spots type in the Republic, increasing the role of sports in the spirit of patriotism and the upbringing of the adolescents, as well as improving the skills of our athletes, reviewing the activity of sports schools, preparation of the candidates for the national teams and expanding the work of the Olympic Sports Complex. Up to 140 wrestlers from 15 regions of the Republic competed in 14 weight categories in the zone championship.The wrestlers taking the first and second places on the weight categories passed to the final stage to be held in Balakan region.
