“Career and job fair” was held at Gabala State Vocational Training Center
On May 04, 2021, at the initiative of Gabala State Vocational Education Center, a “Career and Job Fair” was held in the framework of joint cooperation between the State Employment Agency, the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Gabala Hospitality Group. Opening the event with his introductory speech, Director of the Gabala State Vocational Education Center Galib Nabiyev greeted the guests and informed them about the purpose of the event. 225 vacancies from 9 tourism enterprises operating in the region were presented at the fair. At the fair, CVs of 132 holders of various professions and specialties unemployed and seeking jobs were received, other participants were instructed on the skills needed in the labour market and helped to set their own career goals. Representatives of enterprises offering vacancies provided unemployed and job-seeking people with referrals to vacant jobs in accordance with their professional skills, work habits and preferences, as well as those who want to learn new professions were given instructions for their involvement in professional training and additional education courses in accordance with the requirements of the labour market. The event was organized in accordance with the existing quarantine rules, outdoors and by observing the relevant rules.
