An online event entitled “We commemorate Heydar Aliyev with joy and pride” on the occasion of the 98th anniversary of the birth of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev was held at Gabala State Vocational Education Centre. Opening the event with his introductory speech, Director of the Centre Galib Nabiyev noted that the Azerbaijani people remembered the history and invaluable services of the Great Leader with gratitude and informed the participants that the bright pages of the meaningful and glorious life of the National Leader forms an inseparable unity with the historical past of our people. Speakers at the event noted that Heydar Aliyev’s endless love and devotion to the motherland, people and land at all stages of his political activity, living with the purpose of building, commitment to national ideals laid the foundation for the comprehensive development of the republic from the first day he came to power. They also spoke about the Great Leader’s coming to power in independent Azerbaijan and saving our country from economic decline, disintegration and destruction, as well as his great attention and care for education, especially vocational education. At the end of the event, a video dedicated to the life and activity of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev was watched.
