A commemoration was held on the occasion of the birthday of Colonel-Lieutenant Abdurakhmanov Afgan Aghasaf and soldier Bayramov Joshgun Anvar – the martyrs of the Patriotic War
Today is the birthday of the martyr Afgan Abdurakhmanov from Amirvan village and martyr Joshgun Bayramov from Kichik Amili village. These brave sons of the Motherland granted our people the joy of victory liberating Karabakh from the occupation. In this regard, the martyrs' last resting place was visited by the Representatives of the Gabala Region Executive Power and the Department of Education, the staff of the schools they graduated from, and their family members. They honoured their memory, laid flowers at the graves and said prayers for the repose of their souls. The members of the martyrs' families told about being proud of their children's heroism and expressed deep gratitude to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for attention and care shown.
