"Fair Labor" was held in Gabala.
In accordance with the Law of Azerbaijan Republic "On Employment", "Regional Employment Program", approved by the Head of the Executive Power of Gabala Region for 2014, the schedule of the State Employment Service under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan, with the support of the regional center, a job fair was held on October 22, 2014, which is a measure of active employment, for the purpose of ensuring the effective employment of the unemployed people and job seekers.
Opening the fair with introductory speech, the Director of District Employment Centre Elkhan Salimov told about sustainable economic development of Azerbaijan as a result of well thought-out economic policy, implemented by the head of state, and contributions made by the State Employment Service to these processes. Elkhan Salimov said that in order to ensure a sustainable development of the country as a result of ongoing important government programs, macroeconomic indicators are increasing each year, major infrastructure projects are implemented, in all regions of the country number of jobs created has been steadily increasing. Of course, all this serves to increase of the employment.
At the event the representative of the District Executive Power Tahir Hajiyev, a representative of the State Employment Service Siyafar Akhmedov and others were talking in their speeches about the importance of job fairs today, provision of employment for unemployed people by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the tasks set for the eradication of the poverty.
As a result of extensive works carried out within the preparation to the fair, especially relations on mutual cooperation established with employers, the active participation of employers, the unemployed and job seekers was provided in this important event of active employment. As a result of measures implemented 45 companies and organizations operating in the region, took part in the fair, offering 334 vacant jobs. 99 people of 481 job seekers who came to the fair, were referred to the relevant works.
