An event named “Our Army is our pride” was held on the occasion of June 26 - Day of Armed Forces
On 25.06.2021, an event named “Our Army is our pride!”, organized by Gabala Child and Family Support Center, was held on the occasion of June 26 - Day of Armed Forces.
The event was attended by representatives of Gabala CFSC, members of the families of martyrs, veterans of the Patriotic War and schoolchildren. The event began with the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Then the martyrs who died for the Motherland were commemorated with a minute of silence. Speakers spoke about the struggle for the preservation of the sovereignty, territorial integrity, inviolability and interests of our republic, which is one of the most important achievements of building an independent state in Azerbaijan. The veterans shared their impressions of the battle with the participants and said that the victory was achieved as a result of the unity, will and determination of the people. At the event, veterans and members of the Martyrs’ families thanked President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva for the attention and care shown to them.
