A poem contest dedicated to the National Hero of Azerbaijan, Major-General Polad Hashimov was held
On July 13, 2021, organized by the Youth and Sports Department and Education Department of Gabala region, a poetic competition was held among adolescents and young people on the theme “Martyrs are not forgotten” dedicated to the National Hero of Azerbaijan, General Major Polad Hashimov. 20 students from different schools of the region read poems dedicated to our martyrs who died for our lands, our national heroes and patriotism in the competition. According to the final results of the competition, Mammadova Zahra Yashar, student of secondary school No.3 took the I place, Nuraddinli Nuray Vusal, student of Vandam settlement secondary school No.1 took the II place, and Bakhishova Aisha Javidan, student of Vandam settlement secondary school No.3 were awarded the III place. The winners were awarded with diplomas and memorable gifts by the Youth and Sports Department and Education Department.
