An event dedicated to the memory of the National Hero, Major-General Polad Hashimov who died a hero’s death in Tovuz battles, was held in Cultural Center of Gabala District on July 14, 2021. Employees of cultural institutions, speakers at the event attended by members of the media representatives spoke of army building which was founded by the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, and is successfully continued by the President Mr. Ilham Aliyev, victory achieved in 44 days Patriotic War and honorable battle way of the National Hero of Azerbaijan Polad Hashimov. In the end, literary composition dedicated to the martyrs was performed by the members of People’s Theatre in Cultural Center of Gabala District; art exhibition was viewed.
