Gabala State Vocational Education Center conducted interviews on admission of students in accordance with the Dual Education program
The Dual Education Program has been launched jointly by the State Agency on Vocational Education, the State Tourism Agency, Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau and Azerbaijan Hotel Association for students who will study on expert specialties on cooking in vocational schools and catering in the field of tourism. In accordance with this program, on 20.08.2021, interviews were held at Gabala State Vocational Education Center on the admission of students in accordance with the Dual Education Program. The purpose of the program is to enable the transfer of experience-based knowledge to students together with industry representatives. During the program, students will spend the first month at the educational institution and acquire basic knowledge. From the second month, selected students will acquire theoretical knowledge a few days a week at a vocational school, and the rest of the week at hotels through mentors assigned to them. At the end of the 1-year training period, students will receive a diploma along with theoretical knowledge and the opportunity to gain experience in the country’s leading hotels. The program will be implemented at Gabala State Vocational Training Center on expert specialties on cooking and catering in the field of tourism. The event was held in accordance with the rules of the pandemic.
