Vandam settlement is on socio- economic development path.

Report meeting was held in administrative-territorial representation, Vandam settlement. The responsible employee of administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan Aflatun Rufiyev, the head of regional executive power Sabuhi Abdullayev attended the meeting. Delivering summary report in the meeting, administrative-territorial representative Ilham Baghirov gave detailed information to meeting participants on the works implemented in Vandam settlement and future targets to be executed. It was mentioned in the meeting that major highway passing through the center of settlement was expanded, pavements were repaired and modern lighting system was installed in the report year. Retail facilities complying with modern requirements were constructed in the center of the settlement. Making speech in the meeting Gatiba Abbasova, director of the secondary school No.1, Irada Jalilova, director of the secondary school No. 2, settlement residents Aghasaddin Nasirov, Seyidagha Hamidov and others expressed their satisfaction regarding the works implemented by the head of our state for socio-economic development of the regions and countenanced construction activities conducted in the regions, settlements and villages. Emphasizing some problems existing in the settlement speakers expressed imperative need for construction of cultural center and kindergarten. The head of regional executive power Sabuhi Abdullayev mentioned in the event that improvement of living conditions of people, employment creation had always been on the focus of the President Mr. Ilham Aliyev. The event participants were informed by the head of the regional executive power that these activities would be conducted on a regular basis and socio-economic progress would cover all fields as well. Delivering speech in the meeting the responsible executive of administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan Aflatun Rufiyev commented in a broad range works carried out in social and economic area of our Republic by the government and provided extensive information on projects to be executed in 2014. Aflatun Rufiyev stated that significant amount of works as well as large-scale renovation and construction works were conducted in the settlement. He mentioned that all recommendations and instructions of the head of state would be successfully executed by the settlement and region authority and our people would demonstrate their loyalty to our state and nationhood with their selfless labour. Draft resolution was adopted in the report meeting.
