The regional championship on intellectual game “What, where, when?” was held among schools
On October 21, 2021, with the participation of Gabala region’s Education Department, Region’s Youth and Sports Department and Ismayilli Intellectual Games Club the regional championship on the intellectual game “What, where, when?” was held among schools within the framework of the “Regional Azerbaijan Club” project dedicated to “Victory Day”. A minute of silence was observed in memory of our martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the Patriotic War and gave us the joy of “Victory Day”. Speakers at the event congratulated the participants on the upcoming “Victory Day” and wished them success, and spoke about the special attention of President Ilham Aliyev to the young generation, the care provided to them in all areas and the successful development of state youth policy in the republic. The main purpose of the Intellectual Game “What, where, when?” is to stimulate the intellectual level, outlook, intellectual development of youth, increase the influence of knowledge and science among them, promote the rich national culture and history of Azerbaijan, as well as apply new methods to effectively organize leisure time of youth. In the regional championship, teenagers under the age of 17 from 8 teams tested their knowledge, skills and intellectual level. At the end of the competition, the team of Nohurgishlag village complete secondary school took the 1st place, the team of Vandam settlement complete secondary school No. 1 took the 2nd place and the team of Gabala city complete secondary school No. 5 took the 3rd place. The winner of the 1st place - the team of Nohurgishlag village complete secondary school, won a ticket to the Republican tour.
