A seminar-meeting, dedicated to the strengthening of the joint cooperation between the Northwest Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and local structures, was held in Gabala.
The seminar-meeting was attended by the representatives of existing in the region local structures of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and district executive power, as well as the relevant departments and enterprises functioning on the territory. Having during the meeting a broad point by point analysis of the plans of interaction, between the Northwest Regional Centre and the functioning regional offices and enterprises, the problems, arising in the course of interaction with the local structures, were discussed in detail.
Also, the importance of enhancing the monitoring of compliance with the rules of conduct during natural and man-made emergencies, rules of personal protective equipment, the use of equipment for fire-fighting, fire and industrial safety were brought to the attention of the participants. Then suggestions of heads of agencies and organizations, representatives of executive and local authorities were heard in connection with the last seminar-meeting. After analyzing the provisions arising from the speeches, the recommendations were given to improve the efficiency of the work towards solving the issues mentioned.
