A memorial complex was built in Gabala to perpetuate the memory of martyrs

A memorial complex was opened in Amirvan village of Gabala region to perpetuate the memory of martyrs fallen in the Patriotic War. Commemorative plaques were dedicated to the heroes from Amirvan village, who gave their lives in the Patriotic War reaching the peak of martyrdom. The opening ceremony was attended by the employees of the Region Executive Power, the region department of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription, the martyrs' families, the staff of the schools they graduated from, and villagers. The speakers told about the historical significance of the victory in the 44-day Patriotic War, started on September 27 last year and ended with our victory led by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, as well as about the glorious battle route of the martyrs. It was emphasized that their memory will stay with us forever. Members of the martyrs' families expressed gratitude to the country's leadership for the attention and care they get.
