An event was held on the occasion of “February 2 – National Youth Day in Azerbaijan” in Gabala
Gabala Region’s Youth and Sports Department organized an event on “Youth towards new victories” at the Gabala State Vocational Education Center on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of creation of “February 2 – National Youth Day in Azerbaijan”. Speaking at the event, Fakhri Soltanov, Chief of the Youth and Sports Department, noted that healthy, independent-minded, creative-minded young people grow up for the further prosperity of our modern economic, political and cultural life, our independent state, and gave information about the works done in 2021 and forthcoming tasks. Ataya Osmanova, Deputy Head of Gabala Region Executive Power said that the state youth policy in Azerbaijan was founded by National Leader Heydar Aliyev and today’s holiday is a present from the Great Leader to the youth, and talked about the care and attention of our honourable President to the youth of Azerbaijan, the systematic works carried out, the definition of new development goals. Other speakers at the event spoke about the successful continuation of youth policy in Azerbaijan today by President Ilham Aliyev and the great projects being implemented. At the end of the event, a group of the Patriotic War veterans were awarded honorary diplomas and souvenirs.
