A series of events was organized in secondary schools of Gabala regarding the 30th anniversary of Khojaly tragedy
Drawing and poetry competitions, sport competitions with various nominations and finally a round table “Khojaly – our blood memory” attended by teachers and students of Zaraghan secondary school No.2 was organized in secondary schools of Gabala regarding the 30th anniversary of Khojaly tragedy. Live witnesses of Khojaly tragedy attending the event gave detailed information on the terrorist act committed by Armenian occupiers that night. Head of the Education Department Arifa Bayramova made a speech and stressed that Khojaly genocide is the most serious crime committed against not only the people of Azerbaijan, but also all humans as a tragedy occurred in the late 20th century. A video describing the tragedy was demonstrated at the end of the event.
