A memorial volleyball tournament dedicated to the “30th anniversary of Khojaly Genocide” was arranged
According to the plan of event series dedicated to the thirtieth anniversary of Khojaly Genocide, a memorial tournament was arranged between volleyball groups of Children and Youth Sports Chess School in Gabala city secondary school No.5 with the organization of Gabala Region Youth and Sports Department and with the support of Gabala Children and Youth Sports Chess School on February 25, 2022. Starting the event with an introductory speech, Head of the Youth and Sports Department Fakhri Soltanov made a speech and noted that the Khojaly massacre was the continuation and the most terrible story of the ethnic cleansing and genocide policy regularly conducted by Armenian chauvinist nationalists against Azerbaijanis for about two hundred years, even on such merciless day of genocide the Khojaly population added glorious pages to the heroism history of our people. According to the final results of the memorial tournament, Zaraghan village group No.2 of CYSCS took the place I, Zalam village group took the place II and Kichik Amili village group took the place III. Winners received cups and diplomas of the Regional Youth and Sports Department.
