Memorial Day of the National leader Heydar Aliyev was held.
The regional community attending the event with a large number of people laid flowers at the monument of the National leader, one of the greatest political figures of XX century in the center of Gabala city.
The head of district executive power Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev laid bunch of roses at the monument and paid tribute to the cherished memory of the genius person.
Thereafter, staff of executive power, collectives of offices, enterprises, organizations, non-governmental organizations, education, health, cultural centers laid fresh carnations and flowers at the monument of Heydar Aliyev and honoured the memory of the great leader.
The event followed with the visit to Heydar Aliyev Center. Acquaintance with the exposition reflecting the life and political activity of the great leader, books of the leader, his belongings attracted the special interest in the attendees once again.
Thousands of Gabala residents visiting the monument of Heydar Aliyev in the Memorial Day turned the great leader’s monument into the sacred pilgrimage not only on memorial days as well as all on historical and special days.
