An event entitled “Bloody Chronicle of the History” was held
On March 30, 2022, an event entitled “Bloody Chronicle of the History” was held at Gabala Region Cultural Center in connection with March 31 - the Day of the Genocide of Azerbaijanis. First, a minute of silence was observed in memory of the victims of the March 1918 genocide. Speakers at the event spoke about the atrocities committed by Armenians living in Baku, Shamakhi, Guba, Karabakh, Lankaran, Ganja, Zangazur and other regions, including Stepan Shaumyan and his henchmen, who pursued an ugly Dashnak policy under the Bolshevik mask, against Azerbaijanis, the destruction of villages, expulsion of residents from their homes and killing of innocent people with unprecedented brutality. It was noted that the genocide tragedy committed against the Azerbaijani people received its historical value by the Decree of our National Leader Heydar Aliyev “On the genocide of Azerbaijanis” dated March 26, 1998, and since then March 31 has been marked as the Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis. At the end, a video reflecting historical events was shown.
