Chairman of the AFSA received citizens in Gabala
Chairman of the Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan Goshgar Tahmazli received citizens from Gabala and Oguz regions at Gabala Region Cultural Center on April 1, heard their appeals, considered their applications and complaints. Before the reception, Chairman Goshgar Tahmazli and the Head of Gabala Region Executive Power Sabuhi Abdullayev visited the monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev erected in the center of the city, laid flowers on it and paid tribute to his memory. The appeals of the citizens, who came to the reception held with the participation of the responsible employees of the Agency, were mainly related to the activities of business entities operating in the field of plant-growing, cattle-breeding and food in the region, including certification of exported products, laboratory examinations of products, as well as establishment of laboratories in other regions in future for more operative and efficient organization of works, slaughter activities and related veterinary control carried out by the Agency and other issues. The appeal of each citizen who came to the reception was heard carefully, and relevant instructions were given to thoroughly study the issues raised and resolve them as soon as possible in accordance with the requirements of the legislation. Some of the citizens’ appeals were resolved on the spot, and some issues raised were taken under control for investigation. Appeals that do not fall within the scope of the Agency’s activities have been registered for delivery to the relevant bodies. Then, the appeals of citizens who want to be employed in the local departments of the Food Safety Institute in the above-mentioned regions and have relevant specialties in the field of food were considered.
