The regional championship on polyathlon variety “I am ready to defend the Motherland” was held
On April 12, 2022, the polyathlon variety “I am ready to defend the Motherland” dedicated to the spring conscription of young people was held at Gabala city complete secondary school No. 3, with the support of Gabala Region Youth and Sports Department and Regional Education Department. 18 teams from complete secondary schools of the region took part in the championship on running 100 meters, pull-ups and grenade throwing. According to the final results of the competition, the team of Vandam settlement complete secondary school No. 1 took the 1st place, the team of Amirvan village complete secondary school No. 2 took the 2nd place and the team of Gabala city complete secondary school No. 2 took the 3rd place. The winning teams received diplomas from the Youth and Sports Department. The team of Vandam settlement complete secondary school No. 1, which took the first place, qualified for the zonal stage of the Republican championship.
