“2 February-Youth day” celebration

Musical and entertaining event on “2 February-Youth day” was held in Gabala.  In the first instance, event participants laid carnations at the monument of National leader Heydar Aliyev. Afterwards the event endured in “Qafqaz Sport” hotel. Youth up to 100 working in all fields of the region and taking an active part in socio- political life participated in the event.  Making speech due to the event program Fakhri Soltanov, head of Youth and Sports Department, highlighted essential role of youth in modern economic - political and cultural life and stated that young people with commonsense, creative and independent thinking grow up in our country for further prosperity of our independent state. It is the result of properly established ideological and political work that Azerbaijani youth support and develop ideas of Heydar Aliyev by gathering around the President Ilham Aliyev who successively implements Heydar Aliyev’s policy and completes projects that he didn’t have opportunity to realize as well as these youth set best leg foremost for the sake of our state’s progress. F.Soltanov provided information on activities carried out in 2013 and works to be implemented in the future and congratulated youth on the occasion of holiday.  The head of regional executive power Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev participating in the event emphasized that the sate youth policy in Azerbaijan had been established by Great leader Heydar Aliyev and this holiday was gift of Great leader for youth. Orator stated that care and attention of our honourable President, conducted systematic activity, determination of new targets for development enable us to say that youth of good judgement was formulated in Azerbaijan.  At the end of the event head of regional executive power congratulated youth and wished them success. Delivering a speech at the event, head of NAP Gabala region Youth Union Ramil Garibov, employee of NGO resource and training center Shamsiyya Azimova, young soldier Tahmasib Adigozalli spoke about care and attention of Great leader of Azerbaijan, successful course of youth policy in Azerbaijan by the President Mr. Ilham Aliyev and implemented activities. Traditionally a group of young people achieving success on different areas were awarded with diploma and memorial gifts.
