The event on the theme "January 20 - our bloody memory" was held in the Central District Hospital.
The Gabala Central District Hospital hosted an event in connection with the 25th anniversary of the January 20 Tragedy.
Opening the event with the introductory speech, Deputy Chief Doctor Javanshir Malikov told about the massacre committed by the Soviet Army on the night of January 19 to 20, 1990, an unprecedented massacre of the people who have risen to fight for national independence and territorial integrity of the country.
Then, in their speeches, the head of the surgical department Shirin Mushtagov, Head of the Department of Pediatrics Saleh Aslanov and others noted that the tragedy of January 20 entered the history of Azerbaijan as the top of the national liberation movement of our people for independence, autonomy and freedom.
At the end the participants of the event paid tribute to martyrs of January 20th with the moment of silence.
