The Heydar Aliyev Center hosted an event dedicated to the bloody crime against peaceful Azerbaijani people committed on the night of January 19 to 20, 1990 by the Soviet army. Initially, participants of the event honored with a moment of silence the bright memory of the martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our people.
Then center staff provided the event participants with detailed information in connection with the events of January 20; the political assessment of the massacre that was made by of our national leader Heydar Aliyev has been brought to the attention.
In conclusion, the videos that were recorded during the massacre were shown.
