January 20 - the day of national pride and honor.
A series of events in connection with the January 20 - the day of national mourning was held in all institutions, enterprises and organizations of the district. Also competitions in painting, poetry and essays, photo stands, literary and artistic compositions are organized in schools, other events are held in the direction of training of patriotic spirit among students, pointing the vital memory of adolescents.
On January 19 the first lessons in all secondary schools of the district were devoted to the heroic page, inscribed by the martyrs of January 20 with letters of blood in the annals of the history of Azerbaijan. During the taught lessons and undertaken activities tragedy that occurred 25 years ago, was described as a day of glory and pride of our people, has been marked as the day of liberation of our compatriots who wished to gain freedom and independence.
