“Republican Youth Day”celebration.
The event was held in Gabala on February 2 on the occasion of “Republican Youth Day”. The event was attended by young people involved in social and political life of the region. In the first instance, event participants laid carnations at the monument of National leader Heydar Aliyev. Afterwards in the official part of the event ongoing in the centre’s performance hall, Fakhri Soltanov, head of Youth and Sports Department made a speech on the measures taken in this field in 2014 and challenges ahead. Deputy Head of the executive power of the region Ataya Osmanova stated that the Azerbaijani youth policy was established by the National leader Heydar Aliyev and today’s holiday is a gift by the Great leader to the youth. In her speech, she talked about care and attention of our honourable President to the Azerbaijani youth and system works carried out with them. At the end, she delivered the congratulations of Head of Executive Power of Gabala region Sabuhi Abdullayev to the youth and wished them good luck. Delivering a speech at the event, head of NAP Gabala region Youth Union Ramil Garibov, Deputy Director of “Gabala Regional Youth Resource Center” Public Union Anar Maharramov, English teacher of full secondary village of Dizakhky village Aytan Valiyeva, Director of Children and Youth Sports School Adalat Valiyev spoke about care and attention of the Great Leader to the Azerbaijani youth, successful course of youth policy in Azerbaijan by the President Mr. Ilham Aliyev and activities implemented in their working fields. Traditionally a group of young people achieving success on different areas were awarded with diploma and memorial gifts.
