Council meeting under the Head of the Executive Power of Gabala region was held.  On the initiative of President of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev, the meeting was dedicated to the issue of medical examination of the population from February 17 up to May 1, 2014. Members of the Council, Heads of offices, enterprises, administrative territorial representatives, Chairmen of municipalities and health care workers of the region participated at the meeting. The executive power of the region Mr Sabuhi Abdullayev gave broad information about the issue on the agenda, stated that a decree was signed in 2013 by President Mr. Ilham Aliyev on mass clinical examination of children and adolescents and this event was successfully implemented in the region. Highlighting that the order given by the respected President in connection with the conduct of the medical examination of the people from February 17 up to May 1, 2014 was the evidence of state concern to the health and longevity of our nation, the Head noted that this attention and care was enthusiastically welcomed by Gabala residents. Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev brought to the notice that the rapid economic development in recent years gave impetus to all areas, as well as to the development of health care principally, underlined that as a result of care and attention shown by the president, Azerbaijan healthcare entered into a new phase of development. The speaker mentioned that programs established by the head of state served the training of healthy human capital, to the creation of healthy lifestyle for citizens of the country, stressed that especially children had been surrounded by medical service at a high level. At the end of his speech, Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev stated he was confident that Gabala residents will unanimously join “Every citizen, every man should be examined once a year” call of President of Azerbaijan and noted that all preparation works had been completed in health enterprises of the region for this.  Then, the chief doctor of region’s central hospital Sabir Bayramov, head doctor of medical diagnostic center Bakhtiyar Hakhverdiyev, Chairman of Elder’s Council of the region Nazim Mustafayev, director of medical centre of Mirzabayli village Khayala Yusifova, director of the Olympic sports complex Mammad Ismayilov, Vandam settlement administrative territory’s representative Ilham Baghirov delivered a speech about the issue, spoke about the importance of holding the medical examination of population, gave thanks to the President of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev in association with holding this essential event. Afterwards, the draft resolution of the Council was adopted.
