The 4th Conference of Youth Association of Gabala region Organization of New Azerbaijan Party was held.

On the second of April conference of the Youth Organization of New Azerbaijan Party of Gabala region was held. First of all the participants honored the memory of the great leader, the founder of the New Azerbaijan Party Heydar Aliyev, who was also a great friend and guardian of young people. They laid flowers on the monument erected in his honor in the center of Gabala.
The conference was held at the District Cultural Center. The program was opened by Abil Aghasafov, the Chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party of Gabala region. The chairman of the regional organization spoke about the active role of the New Azerbaijan Party in the public and political life of our country and of the position of youth in the affairs of the party.
Then, to congratulate the participants of the conference the floor was given to the Chairman of the Executive Body of Gabala region Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev. In his congratulatory speech, the head of the region told about what a long and rich way was gone by New Azerbaijan Party, founded by national leader Heydar Aliyev in the most hectic period of modern history of our country. He also stressed that the New Azerbaijan Party has proved to be a unified political force that is able to play a decisive role in the fate of the country. He noted that thanks to the correct policy of the Party, which mostly consists of young people, economy is developing, social conditions are improving, large-scale construction works are carried out throughout the country, including the Gabala region. Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev said that the party has a strong and sagacious leader, our dear president, a great friend and guardian of youth Ilham Aliyev, who has been working tirelessly, successfully putting into practice the policies, defined by Heydar Aliyev.
Then the chairman of the Youth Association Ramil Garibov made a report on the activities of the organization since the last conference. In his speech, he noted that the New Azerbaijan Party, founded by the great leader is standing in the center of the dynamic development that is now happening in the country. Also, he reminded that on February 2, 1996 the first Youth Forum was organized in Baku and that date that is 2 February was declared as the day of Azerbaijani youth, which is a prime example of care shown to the youth by the great leader.
The speaker said that in all areas, including the relation to young people, our esteemed President Ilham Aliyev successfully implements the policy of the great leader Heydar Aliyev. He stressed that the President relies on youth and highly values them and that the State Program "Azerbaijani youth in 2011-2015" confirmed by his order, serves to develop the politics, to ensure the employment of young professionals, and to solve other social and economic problems.
Ramil Garibov noted that Youth Association of Gabala district organization of New Azerbaijan Party includes 2,300 young people who are actively involved in the socio-political and economic life of the region. Together with the regional youth and sports establishment, with the departments of education, culture and tourism, it carries out activities in order to organize useful leisure for youth, conducts classes, round tables, thematic meetings devoted to the popularization of the heritage of the great leader Heydar Aliyev.
Other young party members, making report, evaluated the activities of the association as satisfactory, talked in detail about the affairs conducted in different areas, and shared suggestions on how to further increase the activity of young people.
The conference was attended by a member of Milli Majlis, the Chairman of the Board of Elders of the Republic Fattah Heydarov, editor in chief of "New Azerbaijan" newspaper Hikmet Babaogli, a senior official of the central apparatus of the New Azerbaijan party Emil Abbasov. They congratulated the participants of the conference, members of the youth association, and talked about the responsibilities facing young people.
The conference elected governing bodies, board members, management staff, the chairman and deputy of the youth association of Gabala district organization of New Azerbaijan Party. Namik Tofiqoglu Aghayev was elected as the Chairman of the Youth Association. Youth Association of the New Azerbaijan Party elected representatives to the republican conference and adopted a resolution of the conference.
Representatives of the Conference adopted an appeal to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
Finally, a group of young people were awarded with diplomas and valuable prizes for their active work in the social and political life of the party.
And then the conference concluded its work.
