Cultural Center of Gabala hosted an event dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the victory over fascism.
Opening the event with the introductory speech, Head of the Gabala District Department of Culture and Tourism Nargila Gafarova told that World War II was the most severe and terrible tragedy for humanity, fascism has threatened the whole world. At the event, the director of History Museum of Gabala region Halis Mammadov delivered a report on the subject of "The World War II - is the story of mankind's struggle against fascism".The speakers spoke on the exploits of Azerbaijanis in the World War II, the role of Baku oil for the victory, examples of the work of literature and art of Azerbaijan in the war years, the contribution of our people in the victory. In conclusion, the literary and art composition was shown devoted to 70 anniversary of the victory over fascism.
