Event dedicated to the 22th anniversary of Khojaly tragedy was held in Gabala Cultural Center.
Accordance to action plan approved by Region Executive Power on holding range of events in Gabala region in connection with the 22th anniversary of Khojaly genocide photo exhibitions have been organized in the general education schools, offices, enterprises and organizations, days of remembrance, literary - artistic compositions and meetings have been held.
In the event held at the Cultural Center on February 21 cherished memory of Khojaly victims was commemorated in silence for 1 minute, then the head of the Department of Culture and Tourism Nargila Gafarova, director of the national theatre Fuzuli Sarkarov, worker of the resource department of Centralized Library System Gulnar Adilova and the director of local history museum Xalis Mammadov took the floor, provided detailed information for the participants of the meeting on Khojaly tragedy, the bloodiest genocide of the twentieth century.
