Conference within the framework of the project entitled "Cultural dialogue: ethnic traditions and modernity"
With the support of Youth Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the organizational support of the "Kainat" Youth Center on May 17 Gabala Culture Center hosted a conference on "Cultural dialogue: ethnic traditions and modernity." The event was attended by representatives of ethnic peoples, active youth and community representatives from Gabala, Gakh, Balakan and Ismayilli regions. In their speeches, Head of the Department of Youth and Sports of Gabala region Fakhri Soltanov, Director of the "Kainat" Youth Center and project manager Nargiz Mammadzade, spoke about the work done in the direction of propaganda of the model of cohabitation and inter-cultural dialogue, unifying of youth, representing different ethnic groups in the fight against radicalism, separatism and non-traditional beliefs, achievement of multiculturalism solidarity. At the conference, a representative of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations Gunduz Pashayev and the employee of the Caucasian Muslims Office Ceyhun Rustamov, who participated as experts, spoke about the exceptional importance of educational work carried out in Azerbaijan in the field of religious tolerance and multiculturalism.During the conference, organized in the form of discussions on the basis of interesting suggestions and ideas, draft decision was adopted. Finally, detailed answers were given to the questions interesting for young people.
