Vice-President of the Republic of Bulgaria Margarita Popova visited Gabala region.

Vice-President of the Republic of Bulgaria Margarita Popova, who took part in the III International Forum on Intercultural Dialogue in Baku with a familiarization visit, arrived in Gabala region.
The guest from Bulgaria, received in Gabala, familiarized with historical and cultural objects, operating manufacturing facilities and tourism sector of the region.
Interested in socio-economic development and progress, Ms. Margarita Popova was reported that the holding in Azerbaijan representative events enhances the credibility of our country in the international arena, make our country popular as a place contributing to the dialogue between cultures.
It has been brought to the attention that the accelerated development of the regions in Azerbaijan today is a clear indication of a strategy of great leader Heydar Aliyev and its successful continuation by the President Ilham Aliyev. Today, Gabala, as well as all regions of the country as a result of a deliberate policy pursued by the President Ilham Aliyev, modernizes, preserving its ancient and historical appearance.
Then the guest who came to the Congress Center of Heydar Aliyev was informed that the center opened on August 14, 2013 during the visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in the Gabala region, for 1200 seats, with a unique architectural style, the events on a high level are held.
In accordance with the program of the visit, Ms. Margarita Popova visited the regional historical museum.
Getting acquainted with the exhibits of the museum, vice president with interest examined layouts of extant majestic rampart, tower and gates of the ancient city of Gabala, which for over 900 years was the capital of Caucasian Albania, and samples of material culture discovered during archaeological excavations. Memory Book and notes of famous people on the museum left a good impression at the Bulgarian guest.
Ms. Margarita Popova interested in regional industrial enterprises, also acquainted with the factory for the production of pianos "Beltmann". It was noted, that the factory has been operating since 2009, it is currently the only company in the world for the production of "Beltmann" brand pianos and here it is possible to manufacture 1200-1500 pianos per year.
During the visit, Ms. Margarita Popova acquainted with the “Tufandaq” Winter-Summer Tourism Complex and a modern tourism infrastructure created in the area. Insight into Gabala, construction works conducted in the area on the improvement made an indelible impression on the guest from Bulgaria. Noting that for the recognition of Azerbaijan in the world, the country has great potential, and highlighting the great work done in this direction, Vice President highly appreciated contribution to the economy and social and economic development of our country, based on modern technologies of infrastructure in the regions, the rapidly developing tourism sector.
