Gabala celebrated the International Children's Day.
At the "International Conference on Women", held by the UN General Assembly in 1950, proposals were announced in connection with the enforcement of the rights of children, and the decision was made to the dedicate June 1 to international protection of children. Even since June 1 went down in history as the International Children's Day. As in most countries, this auspicious day is celebrated in Azerbaijan every year. On June 1 Heydar Aliyev Park in Gabala, decorated with flowers, turned into holiday dress. There was no limit to joy of children gathered for a holiday. Opening the event with the introductory speech, the director of children's creative center Rafiga Shirinova provided participants of the festive event with details on the international day of protection of children, strengthening state care provided to children in our country, increasing attention to the problems of children, the work carried out towards the establishment of demographic prospects due to children. Then the artistic groups of children creative center and students of the school of arts made an interesting concert program. Chief Consultant of the Department of Social and Political and Humanitarian Affairs of the District Executive Power Yashar Nazirov congratulated children with the holiday and wished them happy future and clear sky.
