North-West Regional Center of Ministry of Emergency Situations held a meeting.
With joint organizational support of the North-West Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and Gabala Water Rescue Station of the State Water Rescue Service in the administrative building of the Executive Power of Gabala region a meeting was held on the theme "Ensuring the safety of people in the water basins, discussion on the existing problems and ways of co-decision".The meeting was attended by representatives of the regional executive authorities, members of the police department, health workers, representatives of the executive power of towns and villages, the chairpersons of municipalities, experts of the center of epidemiology and hygiene. First Deputy Head of District Executive Power Abil Aghasafov and officers of the State Water Rescue Service made speeches on the themes: safety of people in the water basins, the continuation of work focused on the efficient organization of search and rescue in emergency situations, the role of advocacy in the prevention of cases that may occur, ensuring the safety of people in the water basins in the beach season, the general rules of safety, the safety of people, the functions of a telephone hotline "112" and other topics. Then, a documentary was shown on the activities of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the structure and monitoring of compliance with safety rules while relaxing in the water basins. At the conclusion of the event the participants of the meeting were given brochures about safety rules in the territory of the beaches, their questions were answered.
