Professional holiday of medical workers was celebrated.

District health workers celebrated their professional holiday. Initially, participants of the event with great respect paid tribute to national leader Heydar Aliyev, and then prominent ophthalmologist Zarifa Aliyeva and laid flowers at the their monuments. On the day of the medical workers, which has been continued in the "Tufandag" Hotel Complex, it has been brought to the attention that according to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on June 4, 2001, the June 17th in the Azerbaijan Republic is celebrated as the day of the professional holiday of medical workers. It was emphasized that this auspicious day, established by the great leader Heydar Aliyev will be remembered as a bright evidence of the attention and care provided to health care workers and their selfless work. Addressing the meeting, the Head of Gabala District Executive Power Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev, linking stage of the history of public health in Azerbaijan with the accession to power of the great leader Heydar Aliyev, as in any field, he noted positive changes in the health system. He also spoke of the care and attention provided by the head of state Ilham Aliyev to the health workers, and as a result of this care, development in recent years in our country healthcare, including Gabala, and spoke with satisfaction about the level of medical care. Then speakers with a deep sense of gratitude noted that in recent years in our country at the initiative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the interest increased in the construction of new health and sanitation facilities, better results have been achieved, the relevant state programs have been successfully implemented in this direction, the medical examination of the population of the republic, including the residents of the area was highly assessed, according to the order of the head of state. At the event, health workers, noting that in response to the attention and care shown by the country's leadership, they base their work on a higher level, doing their best for the health of the population, they expressed particular gratitude to the Head of the State Mr. Ilham Aliyev and President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation First Lady of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva for the special care and attention provided to the healthcare of Gabala.
