The "Republican Championship of Young rescuers and firefighters and III International competition of young rescuers" started in Gabala.
With the organizational support of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, with the support of the Ministries of Education, Youth and Sports on July 1 Gabala hosted the opening ceremony of the "Republican Championship of Young rescuers and firefighters and III International competition of young rescuers".Along with the teams of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Georgia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Poland, Belarus, which will participate in the III International competitions, young rescuers from 19 districts of the republic will demonstrate their skills in the republican championship. During the event, which began in the B. military unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Gabala, first of all the national anthem of Azerbaijan Republic was sounded. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan Lieutenant General Faig Taghizade and the Head of the Gabala District Executive Power Sabuhi Abdullayev greeted the participants and informed that the holding of these competitions serves for the healthy growth of young people, a good willingness to situations of natural and man-made disasters, and improving the level of training, as well as the provision of psychological training to people.The competitions will continue until July 6.
