"Business Forum on concessional lending of business activity" was held in the Vandam settlement of Gabala region. Opening the forum, which was attended by about 100 entrepreneurs, Deputy Head of the Department of analysis and forecasting of socio - economic development of Gabala Region Executive Power Ragib Ahmadov noted that, as a result of a successful and confident continuing by the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev of the strategy of socio- economic development laid down by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, our country is fully developed. It was pointed out that, along with the oil sector sustainable development of non-oil sectors of the economy is constantly in the spotlight of the President. It was brought to the attention that to ensure compliance with the priorities of economic development of Azerbaijan and incremental tasks to be solved of the activity of the National Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Ministry of Economy and Industry, to strengthen state support to the entrepreneurship and to expand this activity, in accordance with the Presidential Decree the relevant legislation have been improved, favorable conditions have been created for the entrepreneurs for the sustainable use of concessional credit. Afterwards the executive director of the National Entrepreneurship Support Fund Shirzad Abdullayev noted that over the first six months of 2015, 2972 entrepreneurs were granted 97 million manat of preferential loans. It has been brought to the attention that the implementation of investment projects using loans has opened opportunities for the creation of about 6,600 new jobs. He said that in comparison with the corresponding period of the last year, this year the number of funded projects increased by 13%. During this period, 86.2% of concessional loans - has been issued for the development of the agricultural sector, 13.8% - for the development of a variety of industrial and other sectors. It was pointed out that, along with other spheres of issued loans the investment projects in grain storage facilities, based on the use of modern technologies, large livestock complexes, poultry factories, vineyards, orchards, milk and meat processing enterprises, enterprises on the production of building materials were financed. The forum presented the model projects the conduct of which is considered to be appropriate in Gabala, there was a presentation of model investment projects on establishment of specialized "green market", intensive farms of gardening, vegetable growing, grain growing, fishing and beekeeping, enterprises of industrial processing and packaging of honey, manufacture of confectionery products and carpet weaving enterprises, it was said that up to 100% of the total value of small investment projects will be funded by the state preferential loans. Within the framework of the business forum, business relations were established between employers and authorized credit institutions, 52 businessmen from Gabala and surrounding areas has been allocated 693,000 manat of soft loan, the possibility of opening more than 70 new jobs through the implementation of these loans was mentioned. Credits are primarily planned for the development of grain growing, cattle breeding, wine growing, etc. At the forum the detailed answers were given to business questions, they were provided with information about the projects, training materials were distributed. Within the forum in the Boyuk Amili village of Gabala region an inspection was held at the enterprise production capacity of which is 2200 tons of poultry meat a year, which has been allocated a soft loan.
