The development of the agriculture is in the spotlight
In the agricultural field of the district significant revival is observed. The Decree of the President of Azerbaijan Republic on the “Support to the producers of agriculture products” has special importance in this field. Due to the execution of the mentioned decree, 498551 AZN aid was allotted from the budget of the state in 2014 and this amount was handed out to the land owners through plastic cards in the 1st quarter of this year. Furthermore, in June of the present year the district commission allotted 1103442 AZN of aid for the 1729 land owners for the cultivation of plots and documents were presented to the relevant Commission of the Republic. Crop production constitutes core of the state economy and in the plot of 21300 hectares winter grains were planted in the district for the harvest of 2015, 14015 hectares of which comprises wheat and 7285 hectares are barley. Grain plots in the area were reaped and 64645 tons of yields were produced. From each hectare productivity comprises 30, 3 centner. For the current year harvest 1159 hectares of potato, 2097 hectares of vegetables was planted by land owners. 148 tons of potatoes, 199 tons of vegetables from that plots has been collected till now. Harvesting from the plots continues.
