Gabala youth were accompanied to military service.

According to the relevant Decree signed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan concerning the call to periodic military service, a farewell ceremony was organized in Gabala district. Workers of the district department of state service on Mobilization and Call to the Military service, representatives of the district executive power, parents and representatives of district community participated in the ceremony. Initially, event participators commemorating National Leader Heydar Aliyev with great respect, put flowers in front of his monument. In the event conducted at Heydar Aliyev’s park after Azerbaijan State Hymn sounded, head of Gabala District Department of State Service on Mobilization and Call to the Military Service lieutenant colonel Niyaz Mammadov, opening the ceremony, congratulated the youth on accompaniment to the military service and wished them an excellent military service. Deputy Head and director of the public-political and humanitarian issues department of Gabala District Executive Power Ataya Osmanova in her speech talked about significance of national army in the protection of the state independence, also about formation of the youth as a personality and exclusive role of Azerbaijani Forces in ensuring safety and defense of our state. It was mentioned that army formation policy the basis of which was laid down by Great Leader Heydar Aliyev nowadays is successfully continued by the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Mr. President Ilham Aliyev. Afterwards parent of the recruitee Ahmed Gandiyev, representative of district elders Shirin Shirinov, regional kadi, Gabala district imam Haji Jeyhun Rustamov in their speeches advised to protect integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijani territory honorably, to gain military knowledge, to be disciplined and to serve Motherland as a son worthy of country and wished them to return to Gabala as heros. Recruitees were presented valuable gifts in the ceremony. At the end recruitees kissing Azerbaijani flag passed under the sacred Koran and departed to the service.
