"Gabala" reached the third qualifying stage of the competition of UEFA Europa League.

On July 23 in the return match of the second classification stage of UEFA Europa League "Gabala" team accepted the Serbian "FK Čukarički" team.
In a match that was held in Baku on «Bakcell Arena», in the first eleven of "Gabala" were: Dmitry Bezotosny, Rafael Santos, Urfan Abbasov, Ricardinho, Rashad Sadigov, Javid Huseynov, Olexiy Gai, Sergei Zenjov, Olexiy Antonov, Vojislav Stankovic and Samir Zargyarov.
And in the "FK Čukarički" first eleven were: Nemanja Stevanovic, Lucas Piasentin, Filip Stojkovic, Bojan Ostojic, Rajko Brežančić, Dragoljub Srnich, Branislav Jankovic, Petar Bojić, Nikola Stojiljković, Andrija Pavlović and Slavoljub Srnich.
The match was overseen by the chief arbiter of the Czech Republic Radek Příhoda. He was assisted by compatriots Ivo Nadvornik, Jakub Grabowski and Pavel Orel. UEFA representative at the meeting was the Swede Per Svärd and the judge-inspector - Swiss Andreas Shluhter.
In the first half of the match, which was held with the advantage of the "Gabala" team, our players came forward - 1:0. In the team of Azerbaijan in the 39th minute Sergei Zenjov scored. Thus, "Gabala" went to the break with the score 1:0. The second half also started with sharp attacks of "Gabala" footballers at the gates of the enemy. After 53 minutes, the attacks gave result and S.Zenjov scored twice after sending the second goal to the gate of rivals. Showing in this part a faster game, the teams created several dangerous moments at the gates of each other. Attempts of Serbian players to catch our team on the counterattack was negated. The remaining minutes the team held in mutual attacks, however, the account has not changed, and "Gabala" won with the score 2:0. Head coach of "Gabala" replaced at 70 minutes Samir Zargyarov with Arif Dashdamirov and at 90 minutes Dodo came on the field instead of Olexiy Antonov.
We should note that in the first match of the teams in Belgrade "Gabala" was defeated with the score 0:1.
Thus, the "Gabala" club, winning on aggregate, reached the third stage of classification. The rival of our team at this stage will be the "Apollo" club (Cyprus).
