Gabala hosted the concert of Moscow Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra.
VII Gabala International Music Festival which is the grand event of Heydar Aliyev Foundation continues.
In accordance with the program of the festival, the concert of Moscow Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra was held on the stage installed in the park in front of Heydar Aliyev Congress Centre on July 30. The conductor of New Russia State Symphony Orchestra, winner of Grammy, cellist, artistic director of Gabala International Music Festival Dmitry Yablonsky (Russia-USA) also performed in the concert of Ensemble conducted by renowned conductor Paul Mayer. During the performance, Ensemble tried to demonstrate great skill and personal style of rendering and made an incomparable impression on the audience. The works by W.A.Mozart, J.Haydn and K.Weber were performed in the concert of Ensemble excelling by European-level rendering style.
Local and foreign audience of the concert was informed that Moscow Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra was founded in 1979 by a famous violinist Vladimir Spivakov. A skilled violinist, conductor and public figure Vladimir Spivakov is the artistic director, chief conductor and soloist with Moscow Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra. Since 2003, the team regularly rehearses at the International House of Music in Moscow.
We recall that the next concert of Moscow Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra will take place on Gabala stage on July 31. The concert of the winners of III Gabala International Piano Competition, held during the festival, and the closing ceremony of the event will be held on the same day.
